i'm listening to her newest- deb (heartbroken). randy, a regular at work, let me burn his cd. i had seen her perform over the summer at the stern grove fest (an amazing free summer concert series in sf surrounded by redwoods) before another incredible performer- lila downs who is frida kahlo reincarnated. souad massi stole the show though. i believe she is algerian-french and her voice is so very beautiful. good for making art to. good for eating ginger carrot soup and blogging to. and no, i'm not her paid rep!
