i've been painting so much lately for specific purposes-- themed shows & illustrations-- that these paintings are just for me to get back to what i love. i have 2 shows already lined up for september, so while i need to get working towards them i also want to experiment and feel back to the basics of gushy paint love that make me feel alive.
i'll keep you posted on their progress.

and between you and me: i keep copies of my favorite artworks i've created to look at for inspiration too! sometimes i want to go back to some work and put a different twist on it later and there's nothing wrong with that! =-)
Beautiful! I have done sketches and paintings in journals and then I never do anything with them so now I am making lists of themes and finding all these great ideas in my journals which I will pull out!
What fun, beautiful pictures! Love seeing works in progress! I also like to be surrounded by things that I love and reminders of past work when I sit down to create. Keep on keepin' on!
