naive knitting inspired me to take pictures of my studio, which is a complete whirlwind of messiness right now! here are selected "confidantes": hand carved minature buoys that my dad made when he was little, art & bird books, doll made by hugh's grandma, 80's finger puppet, day of the dead skeleton, mission street lantern, romare bearden postcard & a great one from the APE {alternative press expo}, tissue paper i had to have in my view, a doll i bought at a yardsale b/c i loved her eyes-- just like i always draw them looking to one side and lastly an indonesian sculpture from hugh's travels.
