grandpa's slidetrip out to the south west

grandpa' trip to the southwest
i have this little slide on the windowsill of my kitchen, rescued from S.C.R.A.P from a slew of slides. this one stuck out to me, and today when i look at it i think of my tooth being pulled and what the dentists may have seen down my gullet.

i had a terrible day today of surprise oral surgery. ow! they pulled one of my wisdom teeth~ why do they have wisdom anyway?

sympathy is welcome;) i never understood why people thought going to the dentist was traumatic... now, i do. just call me chipmunk cheeks. i should do a self-portrait.

p.s. thank you all for your kind words of support below and getting what i mean about the art dilemmas, and for missing me! xoxo

Oh dear...can I just tell you I have to take a xanax before I get dental work done? It was only in the last year or so that I didn't need one for a mere cleaning! I am the biggest dentist wimp ever, so I feel your pain.

Although my wisdom teeth-pulling recovery actually went quite well, so I'm sending that good juju your way, my dear.

Oh yes, when I had mine out they put me under, broke my teeth into pieces while they were still in my head, and removed them in fragments. I wonder what that would have sounded like if I'd been conscious! I don't know if that's normal practice or just because I am blessed with abnormally long "tooth roots". Ick. Hope you're feeling better!
