yesterday was my last day of school for the semester! i am so so so happy to be done, especially with my comics class that was very painful for me. i love the teacher, had him in the past, he's amazing, but the subject matter-- called sequential imagery- was basically comic book oriented. yesterday in class they spent the entire class name dropping obscure comics that i do not know about nor ever want to know about. i'm over it. i hope i don't sound too bitter. it was a really geeky class and actually very good subject matter for a comic.
anyway, here is my "painting" for the day. i'm off to pick up one of my best friends from DC at the airport and start our weekend of fun and a 10K and camping in humboldt:)

hey mati: love the image; when i talked to you last at ape, you had mentioned a creative temp agency called "24/7"...i tried looking them up, and found this site by that name saying they were only in la and ny, but i ran across a "24 seven" on geary when doing a 49 geary open gallery jaunt last thursday; are they mainly a fashion/illustration place? just curuios what your take on them is, trying to figure it out.
