thank you so for buying our dinner tonight.
i do not know what posessed you to be so random-act-of-kindness and to bestow it upon us, but it has made my night, my week... my month. i don't know if it was because hugh and i decided to eat above our means tonight, in order of celebration for getting through a hard week... if you sensed that? or if it was because as we were entering the restaurant together i asked you if we were dressed well enough to enter (in our hoodies)? or was it because you knew i was a poor art student who had worked a double waiting tables hours earlier? or do you just practice this generosity tactic? well, i think it's catching.
i am so thankful for this small gesture of generosity.
